Ironclad Mono was founded in 2019 in Dublin by three engineers who were tired of watching companies make the same technical mistakes.

We'd seen promising startups crippled by architectural decisions made in haste. We'd watched enterprises hemorrhage money on consultants who delivered PowerPoints instead of code. We decided to build a different kind of firm.

Our founding principle was simple: treat every engagement as if we were building something we'd have to maintain for a decade. That constraint changed everything — from how we hire to how we architect to how we document.

Today, we're a team of 47 engineers and designers spread across 12 countries. We've delivered 156 projects and maintained a >90% client retention rate. But we're still the same firm: obsessed with craft, allergic to shortcuts, and genuinely excited by hard problems.
